The Boathouse Restaurant is uniquely positioned in a superb location overlooking Christchurch Quay. Situated in an idyllic setting on the banks of the River Stour, The Boathouse is just two minutes’ walk from Christchurch Priory and Christchurch town center.
During the summer months we are exceptionally busy, having built up a fantastic reputation for great service and amazing food.
We are currently looking for Experienced Bar Staff to join our fantastic team.
You must be 18 and over for apply for the role, there may be times that you will need to serve alcohol unattended.
Main Responsibilities:
Working well under pressure to serve customers at a fast, efficient pace.
Providing a friendly and positive guest experience.
Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our customers.
Serving customer at the bar, entering drinks on to the till system and cash handling.
Preparing ticketed drinks for our guests in the restaurant.
Using the coffee machine - Barista style.
Assessing customers' needs and preferences and making recommendations.
Constant up keep and cleanliness of the bar.
Restocking bar.
Checking identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience in Bartending or similar role in a customer facing environment.
Great personality, bubbly, friendly and confident.
Strong initiative to understand your customers needs and wants.
Keeping a cool head in a busy, fast paced environment.
Excellent team player.
Good verbal and written English.
