The Crisis Care pathway for children & young people across Greater Manchester (GM) has been totally transformed. Four multi-agency, multi-disciplinary Rapid Response teams serving the whole of GM are at the heart of the transformation. These teams will provide crisis assessment and management and will offer intensive support post crisis for children, young people and families. The post holder will be based within one geographical cluster, however some cross-cover may still be provided across the full Greater Manchester foot print.
The Rapid Response Teams and the overall pathway emphasise a culture of accessible, high quality, holistic, child centred, recovery focused care, enabling you to effectively address the needs of children and families when they are at their most vulnerable. As such these posts will be enormously rewarding.
The new crisis care pathway enjoys a high degree of national & local recognition and interest. Therefore these are high profile posts offering you potential opportunities to conduct service based research and to present at conferences and other events. You will receive a structured induction and comprehensive training programme, along with a robust programme of continuous professional development.
