About Us
We are a family run manufacturing company based in Clayton West, Huddersfield. We have been operating in this location since 1954. We have a wide range of brands and outlets, and we distribute nationwide.
We require an experienced Packaging Manager for our Imported Rugs despatch team. Please note this is a very hands on role which includes picking orders with the team.
Requirements:
- Drive and implement continuous improvement across the department
- Responsible for coordinating the storage of product
- Improving picking errors to ensure a 100% rate is achieved
- All orders are despatched on time and in full.
- Good communication skills
- Good time management skills
- An ability to work on your own initiative
- The ability to adapt to changes and work under pressure.
- To work well as a part of a team and communicate with other workers.
- Positive, "can do" attitude is crucial.
- Very good level of written and spoken English is essential.
- Unloading of inbound containers ensuring delivery notes are accurately recorded.
- Implementation of scan and pack procedure
- Computer literate
- Stock rotation
- Management of Holiday rotas, absence management basic HR
- Monitoring efficiencies and training needs
Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday 7.45 - 16.30 Friday 7.45 - 15.15

Job Types: Full-time with some overtime required in peak season
