As the Audit & Compliance Administrator, it will be your main responsibility to provide administrative support to the Audit & Compliance Team. You will also support examiners and operational teams in relation to examination team emails, post, branch travel arrangements and other ad-hoc duties when requested.
In addition you will provide administrative support for Seafarer systems primarily but not exclusively to: Short Course Database.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join the MCA where the workload is varied and no two days are the same. You will have exposure to meeting internal and external stakeholders at all grades as well as gaining more knowledge and skills to develop your understanding of the Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping (STCW).
This role will be based in the Southampton HQ. MCA supports flexible working and operates a hybrid working model between home and office for this role, giving you greater flexibility over where and when you work. Details of the arrangement will be discussed further with your line manager.
There will be a requirement for you to occasionally travel within the UK, however notice will be given prior to travel.

About you:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience of working within a customer service environment, championing customer service to always ensure that the highest quality of service is always provided to customers.
You will have strong communication skills and can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. You can deliver information in a clear, confident, professional manner to internal and external stakeholders at all grades.
Excellent IT skills will come naturally to you, you will have demonstrable knowledge in the use of Microsoft packages, in particular Microsoft Outlook and Excel .
