Merrifield are thrilled to partner with the wonderful Nordoff Robbins, the UK’s largest music therapy charity to find their new Engagement and Communications Manager to Implement their communications and engagement strategy. The person coming into this role will need to ensure the strategy is aligned with their digital, PR and fundraising strategies, whilst collaborating closely with colleagues across Nordoff Robbins to grow engagement and income growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Implementing our communications and engagement strategy, making sure it’s being aligned with our digital, PR and fundraising strategies, collaborating closely with colleagues across Nordoff Robbins to grow engagement and income growth.
- Working closely with teams across the charity including music services and education raise awareness of and promote the Masters of Music Therapy course, and other services and education courses.
- Overseeing and being responsible for the annual communications and engagement plan which includes campaigns, events, fundraising and partnerships activity, making sure digital, social and PR are all aligned.
- Overseeing and leading on evaluations and reports for campaigns and events, making sure we take learnings and insights to help us develop and improve moving forward.
- Act as a brand lead in the organisation, being responsible for making sure the brand is adhered to and consistent throughout the charity.
- Oversee creation and implementation of our staff engagement strategy by ensuring staff are communicated to across several touch points and tactics effectively.
Skills and Experience
- An understanding of the full marketing mix and owned, earned and paid media
- Strong communicator who understands how to speak to a variety of audiences through different channels.
- Ability to juggle different projects, priorities and campaigns at multiple times
- Excellent copywriting, proof-reading and editing skills with an ability to put the voices and experiences of the people we support at the heart of our communications.
- Experience of planning, delivering, managing and evaluating marketing plans and campaigns to support a range of objectives, including awareness, engagement and fundraising goals.
- Experience of developing audience-led communications, putting the people we support at the heart of our communications.
- Experience of using data and insight to improve audience communications and engagement.
