Purpose of this role:
As we grow our technology team we are keen to ensure that Agility isn't just a buzzword, but something that we bake into our software and processes as a feature. Central to us achieving this is creating a strong devops culture in our teams, allowing us to confidently deploy software into stable environments and accelerate our feedback loops.
This role will work within the technology department supporting the product teams to develop, deploy and maintain clean, automated software systems alongside reducing hosting costs, increasing automation and allowing us to fully extract the value from our agile principles.
You will be joining us near the beginning of a greenfield project and will have the opportunity to influence our processes from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all aspects of software delivery are met and continually improved
- Building CI / CD pipelines in a cloud native environment, we use AWS and Azure
- Support of full SDLC including monitoring and alerting for critical systems
- Setup, maintenance and reporting of secure perimeter
- Ensure integrity and durability of customer data
You will be:
- Keen and able to learn new technologies
- Happy to perform code reviews and have your code reviewed by your peers
- Familiar with delivery of software using Agile methodologies
- Willing to take part in architectural decision making.
- Fluent English language skills
