The Role
You will be supporting our team of recruiters in ensuring our Safer Recruitment Policy and take ownership of the whole compliance cycle. You will own the end-to-end compliance process for our temporary workers as well as providing advice, and support to ensure a quick but safe turnaround to people into work. You will be responsible to ensure the company complies with regulatory requirements and internal policies around compliance at all times. You will be assisting the team with pre-screens and resourcing when required. We are seeking an ambitious individual who has can support our teams growth with key organisation skills and a desire to eventually manage a team of compliance officers as the company evolves.
What you’ll be doing
- Working alongside the recruitment team to identify all requirements and compliance needs for any candidates offered employment via 110% People.
- Vetting and pre-screening suitable workers to join our workforce.
- Responsibility for all compliance checks for new starters – DBS Checks, right to work checks, obtaining suitable references, and checking of qualifications
- Acting as the first point of contact for compliance enquiries
- Confidence to make informed suitability decisions, in line with Department of Education (DfE) guidance, and our own policies and processes
- Assist with weekly compliance reports to management and consultants
- Keep abreast of changes in regulation and legislation, especially relating to the eudcation and eyfs sector.
What we’re looking for
- Experience working within a recruitment or HR environment
- Strong communicator, who can effectively communicate to all levels, both written and verbally
- Ability to prioritise workload, whilst working towards and exceeding targets, to ensure compliance demands of the business are met
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels
- Knowledge of right to work and pre-employment checks
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office Suite
- Experience of compliance within the education sector (desirable)
