The role
We are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team as Head Veterinary Nurse at our Prescot clinic.
The role will involve all aspects of nursing as well as the day-to-day running of the practice. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas; more responsibilities will form part of this role with full support being provided by the nursing team.
As a Head Veterinary Nurse you will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties as well as sharing best practice with your team and helping to support and develop the student nurses in your practice.
This is a full time role working 40 hours per week.

Salary £32,500
Generous CPD allowance of £750 and in-house CPD available, plus 2 days CPD leave

Medivet Prescot is a busy two vet practice lead by experienced Vet Johann and Head Nurse Vicki who is also a Clinical Coach.
The team also has part time Client Care Assistant Lorraine, Patient Care Assistant Lauren and SVN Anna.
Prescot is located in a nice residential area with parking available at the front of the building and is 15 minutes from the main hospital. The facilities include x-ray, ultrasound, theatre and a kennel room. The practice is having a refurb giving it a nice bright fresh feel, this is scheduled for this year.
