We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate has strong verbal communication skills and experience working with elderly patients. The healthcare assistant will be responsible for administering bedside care and assisting the doctor with any illnesses or injuries that may occur, so we are searching for individuals who are adept at responding to patient needs in an organized manner, paying close attention to detail and making sure that no task is left unfinished.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
- Assist with daily living activities.
- Inform physician of any relevant changes in a patient's condition or needs.
- Collect and record vital signs, such as temperature or blood pressure.
- Document medical information in patient charts, such as medical history, medications, allergies and reactions to medications.
- Provide emotional support for patients and families.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: £10.42-£11.00 per hour
