The Senator Group is a major employer in the Burnley, Hyndburn and Blackburn area employing 1200+ staff across its Lancashire based manufacturing sites. We design and manufacture innovative office furniture which we supply to our customers worldwide.
We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced Sprayer / Polisher to join our team responsible for preparing and treating a wide range of MDF and Plywood materials, using a range of techniques, ensuring required standards of quality are met.
The Role:

Prepare hand crafted or production furniture for finishing this will include sanding, repair, stripping and general surface preparation.

Apply stains, sealers, primers, polishes, lacquers and finishing coats to furniture as per customer specification and finish furniture by spraying.

Identify and carry out basic colour matching to organisational standards.

Carry out cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas and machinery.
The Person:
-
Experience of prep work, lacquering, spraying, staining, painting and finishing.

Able to work as part of a team but to also work on own initiative when necessary.

Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions and work to standards.

An eye for detail.

Able to work to within tight deadlines and with minimal supervision.

Good Manual dexterity.
Working Hours: 7.00am – 4.00pm Mon to Thursday and Friday 7.00am - 12.45pm.
