AVL Powertrain UK Ltd is currently seeking a Controls & Software Intern to join our Controls Department in Coventry for a minimum of 6 months.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- General assistance with software and control engineering tasks
- Interaction within the local teams
YOUR PROFILE:
Essential:
- Studying on (or graduating from) a degree course in an engineering or automotive discipline
- Knowledge of MatLab/Simulink/Stateflow
- Understanding of control theory
- English language (spoken and written)
- Available for at least 6 months
Preferable:
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python)
- Strong background in specific areas; energy management, vehicle dynamics, thermal management, torque production, etc.
- Driving licence valid for driving in the UK

Annual Remuneration: Due to UKVI compliance requirements, we are obligated to state the annual gross salary (full-time) for this position. The salary for this internship is £20,500 and this may be pro-rata based on the length of your internship.
