Our client based in Harrogate is looking for a number of Waste Management Operatives (Waste Loaders) for a minimum of 1 month. The role is Monday – Friday, up to 37 hours a week.
The pay rate for Waste Management Operatives is £11.50 per hour. Full protective clothing will be provided.
This is a temporary, full time role based in Harrogate from 30th June to 31st July 2023, that requires you to:
- collect household and garden waste emptying wheelie bins and recycling boxes
- walk long distances on the round (10/12 miles a day)
- carry out lifting and bending
- be reliable and work outside in all weathers
- work between 7am – 3pm (Monday – Friday)
- be polite and offer good customer service to the public
No previous waste loading experience is needed, as training will be given for Waste Loaders but you MUST:
a) be able to provide two references from previous employers. one of which needs to be your most recent employer. Please make sure that your referees know you are applying.
b) be available for an induction (potentially 30th June) and to start immediately after your induction for the full 4 weeks,
