Position Summary
In the Farmshop we pride ourselves on our high quality fresh produce, sourced from fantastic farmers and producers, communicated with warm and friendly service.
As a member of the Farmshop team your primary focus will be customer experience, delivering exceptional service, working efficiently at speed, taking great care of your area and looking after our customers.
We have won many awards and gained many loyal customers over the years and It will be your responsibility to uphold the reputation that we have spent almost a decade earning.
This role is a high energy one that delivers a fantastic customer journey to ensure everyone leaves happy, whether it’s a relaxed weekday morning or a fast paced Saturday afternoon. Supporting and assisting your team to the best of your capabilities will be essential during every shift and will help create a healthy work environment that everyone can thrive in.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome, look after and engage with customers.
- Assist the team in daily opening and closing operations.
- Follow systems to uphold presentation, cleanliness and upkeep of the department.
- Work with our team to keep all standards high and help make improvements.
- Learn and communicate product and supplier knowledge, helping to educate, inform and advise our customers.
- Become a whizz on the till, efficient and accurate.
- Help to keep the shelves fully stocked throughout the day with fresh produce and attractive displays.
- Complete daily paperwork and checks, ensuring we are compliant with legal requirements.
- Help minimise food waste with stock rotation, having respect for and taking great care of our products.
