Staff Nurse – Surgical Orthopaedics

Cromwell Hospital - London, SW5 0TU ( 5 mins walk from Earls Court underground or 7 mins walk from Gloucester Road underground .)

13 shifts per month on rotation, days/nights (4 nights, 3 weekends)

£32,390 to £39,330 per annum (dependent on experience )

Golden Hello of £3,000, or £5,000 towards Domestic Relocation Costs (if applicable)

Your role

As a Staff Nurse on our Surgical Orthopaedics W ard, you’ll provide all-round nursing care to surgical and orthopaedics patients , both pre- and post-surgery.

Y ou’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team with surgical specialties includ ing orthopaedics, ENT, p lastics, a esthetics, a bdominal s urgery, b reast s urgery , and others.

What you’ll do

• Help to deliver a consistent , safe service in all aspects of the patient journey

• Liaise with Support Services to make sure all patients’ non-clinical needs are met , including cultural, sexual, religious, and any special needs

• Work as part of our team and be responsible for the care we deliver

• Recognise the need for DOLs assessments, mental capacity assessment s, and 'simple' and 'complex' safeguarding referrals

• Take part in clinical audit s as required by the Sister / Charge Nurse
