We are recruiting 2 x Property Assistants across the force to based Workington and Kendal.
Property Assistants will assist in the provision of a professional evidential property management service to all staff and officers within the force. To include the review, retention, storage and disposal of items including drugs, cash, firearms and forensic samples, in line with force policy and operational guidelines, ensuring Forensic Guidelines are adhered to.
This is a newly created role in order to improve our property management service, the first piece of work this role will assist with is the review of legacy seized property in the relevant property store. This will be led by local senior leadership teams and this will be working with colleagues from various departments.
