Account Manager
4 Day Working Week. Hybrid Model. 2 Days In Manchester Office + 2 Days Work From Home.

Engage Hub is our Influencer Marketing, Social Media and Advertising agency, located in Manchester. Through this division we offer a variety of innovative and flexible solutions across digital, to ensure a client’s campaign stops its audience in their tracks, and turns their attention into action. We are made up of strategists, influencer specialists, paid media experts and social media managers.
Engage Studio is our in-house team, located in Manchester, and made up of highly skilled digital-first creatives. We are strategists, designers, producers and directors who work to connect a brand to its audience through powerful storytelling and trend-led creative executions.
Job Description
We’re looking for a digitally-minded Account Manager with a creative eye who can provide exceptional service to our wide range of clients - big and small. Working closely with the creative, paid media and social teams you need to be able to hold your own and ensure your clients are getting amazing work and results.
Roles and responsibilities
- Growing client success - Providing support for clients by listening carefully about their needs and ensuring that we deliver great strategic and creative solutions that solve their business goals. Liaise with, and act as the link between, clients and our agency by maintaining regular contact with both, managing day-to-day affairs and ensuring project success. Handling feedback, questions and issues from clients and ensuring seamless workflow. Identifying new business opportunities and championing success through client retention.
- Creative briefing and ideation - Translating client requests into Engage Hub briefs - watertight documents that the design, influencer, paid media and content creation teams can easily turn into deliverables. Meeting with the wider agency to brainstorm ideas and roadmap projects. Presenting strategic and creative work at certain milestones to clients and collecting feedback for the relevant teams.
- Project and client admin - Arranging calls and meetings, recording notes as well as keeping up to date on client emails and administrative tasks. Supporting the senior team with their clients and projects, QA and proofreading, and ensuring allocated billable hours are in budget each month.
- Commercial management of client portfolio to track and monitor budget spend and work with SLT to encourage revenue development within the client base.
An ideal candidate will have experience in account management or creative strategy within a digitally focussed agency. You will be working across different clients, from Global brands to start ups and new challenger brands. You will be a team player with great communication and rapport building skills who proactively seeks out opportunities to add value to the clients and team.
We are a digital creative agency so a creative background would be a nice to have. Within the role you may be asked to critique design work as well as translate client design feedback into creative briefs so an eye for detail, working knowledge of design best practice and experience working with creative teams would benefit you in this role.
Requirements
- Account Management experience from an Agency background.
- Good knowledge of social, digital content and paid media.
- Experience of working on shoot production( video and stills)
- Strong commercial awareness - able to monitor and track budgets, record key KPIs and produce monthly performance reports
- Experience using G Suite, such as Slides and Sheets
- Good understanding of design best practices and able to critique work to a high standard
- Good understanding of digital Paid media with experience of using Meta Ads and Google ads (preferable)
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and clients simultaneously
- Flexible and agile in your approach to work
- Able to take feedback and relay it quickly and effectively to the appropriate teams
- Able to balance time across multiple projects, working in a fast-growth environment
- Work with minimal supervision, taking responsibility for your work and being able to prioritise projects in an organised manner, managing expectations across teams
