We're looking for 2 new team members: 1 Part-Time and 1 Full-Time Dental Nurse.
All levels of experience considered.
Part-Time position is ideally for Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
Our small independent 2-surgery dental practice has a reputation for providing excellent service.
Current team consists of 2 part-time dentists, 1 part-time dental therapist, 2 full-time dental nurses + 1 part-time nurse (working Tue, Wed, Thu) and additional support from our sister practice.
All dental nurses are also expected to be competent at reception and decontamination duties.
Good IT and communication skills essential. We are looking for a competent, confident, caring individual.
Available hours:
Monday 08:45 - 12:30, 13:30 - 17:15 (3.75hrs + 3.75hrs = 7.5hrs)
Tuesday, 08:45 - 12:30, 13:30 - 17:15 (3.75hrs + 3.75hrs = 7.5hrs).
Wednesday, early start 08:15 - 12:30, 13:30 - 17:15 (4.25hrs + 3.75hrs = 8hrs).
Thursday, late night 08:45 - 13:30, 14:30 - 19:15 (4.75hrs + 4.75hrs = 9.5hrs).
Friday, half day 08:45 - 13:45 (5hrs).
Weekly full time hours: 37.5hrs. Some of these hours are flexible, please discuss your needs we us.
Potentially occasional Saturdays in future.

Clayton Brook Dental is a long established, family owned dental practice. Current ownership has been in place since 2009.
We are a small mixed practice, historically our patient base is generally very well maintained.
The practice is family orientated and provides routine dental care to approximately 2500 patients. We see a full range of patients from very young children to elderly patients.
The practice is situated south of Preston, within 5 minutes drive from major motorways links M6 (J29), M65 (J2) and M61 (J9). You can find us between Preston, Blackburn, Leyland and Chorley.
Local amenities include: Morrisons Daily (convenience store, newsagent), Post Office, Whittlebrook Pharmacy, Doctor's surgery, fish & chip shop, church, café, hairdresser and barber. Also within 5 min drive are: Esso/Spar/Subway, local library, Burger King, B&Q, supermarkets: Lidl, ASDA (Clayton Green), Aldi and Sainsbury's (Bamber Bridge).
Uniform and footwear provided by practice. Annual CPD requirements funded by practice. GDC ARF funded by practice after 1st year of service (pro rata).
New enhanced DBS check at start of employment.
HR and H&S support is provided by Citation. Lead dentist is a long time BDA member and often attends LDC (Local Dental Committee) meetings. The practice is also registered with iComply (CODE).
Limited private car parking is available behind the practice (3 spaces).

Clayton Brook Dental has been computerized since 2009. We have four workstations that run the dental software SFD (Systems For Dentists): two at reception and one in each surgery. The practice offers digital radiography via a phosphor plate system and a Durr VistaScan Mini x-ray scanner.
Actual salary is negotiable, dependent on ability/experience.
(Trainee Dental Nurse on an approved training course with over 12 months experience: £7.50/hr.)
(Qualified, GDC registered Dental Nurse: £10.00/hr.)
(Experienced Dental Nurse with additional duties: £11.00/hr.)
(Head Nurse: £12.00/hr)
