Job Description

LHV UK is a leading banking services provider to over 200 fintech companies, including Paysafe, Blockchain, Currencycloud, Coinbase, Trustly, Monese and Wise. Its clients vary from fintech unicorns and digital asset companies to established financial institutions with a global reach. LHV UK offers several innovative banking services, including instant EUR and GBP payments, agency banking, virtual IBANs, safeguarding accounts, multicurrency accounts, and FX.

LHV UK is the founding member and leader in instant EUR payments, processing 8% of the total transactions in Europe. Its clients reach 500 million end-customers in the UK and Europe by making and collecting payments. In February 2022, LHV UK submitted its full UK banking license application, which is subject to regulatory approval by the Prudential Regulatory Authority and Financial Conduct Authority.

We are currently looking for a Finance Assistant to support the Head of Finance. This is a new role that offers a broad scope and plenty of diverse tasks including a focus on Analytics.

Please note this is a predominantly London office-based role with scope for flexibility.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Accounts payable and Accounts receivable postings into the General Ledger system.
  • Management Accounts production.
  • Financial Analysis and Board pack production.
  • Working on intragroup transactions.
  • Cashflow management.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
  • Staff expense processing.
  • Liaising with financial reporting team at Head Office. (Estonia)
  • Other adhoc finance related work as required.

Experience and attributes

  • Experience of working within financial Institutions.
  • Experience of Tableau and other Data Visualization tools
  • System – MS Navision
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High levels of integrity, discretion and the ability to manage confidential and highly sensitive information.
  • Fintech, payments or challenger bank experience is a bonus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
