Kneesworth House Hospital
Currently rated as ‘good’ by the CQC, Kneesworth House Hospital sits within 45 acres of grounds approximately 13 miles from Cambridge. Despite its rural location, the A1 is nearby and London is only 40 minutes away by train.
The Hospital is a high dependency rehabilitation unit, which provides a range of specialist recovery pathways, as well as acute and psychiatric intensive care, medium, and low secure services, and a community focused rehabilitation ward, all on one site. Services are provided across 13 wards and staff provide holistic, recovery-orientated care and a range of treatments suitable to the needs of the patients. This is achieved through strong teamwork with supportive multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs). There is also access to a wide variety of training opportunities.
As well as free parking on site and meals on duty, there is an extensive range of support and wellbeing incentives for staff, and cultural events throughout the year.

As well as giving you the flexibility to work around your life, we want to make sure you feel at home at Priory. You’ll be partnered with your own dedicated line manager who will check in regularly to ensure you have the training and support you need. Depending on the site you’re working at, you’ll receive either free or heavily subsided meals and almost all of our sites offer free parking. You will also be entitled to annual leave. Many of our Bank Mental Health Nurses have progressed or transitioned into permanent positions with us, so this could be an option if your situation changes in the future.
What you’ll need
We ask that you’re a fully registered nurse with active NMC PIN and that you have some experience working in a similar clinical environment. Aside from that, all of our people must show integrity and compassion in their work and share our goal of delivering excellent care for our people.

- Expectations of nurses to receive higher bank rates:
Minimum 8 shifts per 4-week period
Work nights/weekends as needed
Work on any ward at direction of nurse manager
95% compliance with training modules (online or offered in person) at any one time
Maximum one cancellation within 72 hours of shift start in 4-week period
Cannot have been Priory permanent staff in past 3 months unless in new substantive post
