Labour Hire is looking for a WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE for a well-established company in LEYTON.

About the role:

Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00
Rate: £12.00 per hour
Supervising and physically preparing loads prior to loading and booking in loads following unloading.
Supervision loading/unloading of all vehicles, ensuring all paperwork is correctly signed and processed to required standard and access to warehouse is secure at all times.
Daily communicating with supervisors concerning the completion of the workload in the “jobs to do” tray.
Supervising Warehouse large projects such as large Exhibitions, large movements of stock, large client audits and Warehouse developments such as rack building and alterations.
Daily warehouse cleanliness and tidiness inspections and carrying out the required action or supervising manpower to do so if available.
Check for building damage, that all lights are functioning, all locks are open in case of fire
Weekly Warehouse quality inspections and assessments and listing required improvements.
Communication of the inspections and assessments to Warehouse Manager with discussion of importance to draw up an ordered action plan.
Supervising the action plan when manpower is available.
Assist with Stock rotation and stock taking procedures
Assist with the quality control of our product
Ability to strap and wrap pallets
Good housekeeping/hygiene standards/ follow operational instructions
Permanent position for the right candidate
