We are looking for a creative, ambitious, hardworking and hands on person to be our next screen print superstar! Our screen print department is growing, and we are looking to bring someone on board that we can teach and grow into being a world class printer.
Screen printing is a world-wide industry with the skills being needed in every country. What you learn here with us will serve you well for the rest of your life, this is a career with skills that are transferable all over the world – come and learn from the best.
Your job will stretch across all stages of the screen-printing process, from mixing inks, to preparing machines, setting squeegee angles and running the machines for small & large orders. We will even teach you advanced techniques such as: water based and discharge printing, hi-build printing, complex colour separations and foil printing.
This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, with lots of overtime in a busy factory setting reporting to the Factory Manager.
The ideal candidate will have a creative and detail-oriented mind, experience in a production setting, and the ability to communicate clearly.
Responsibilities:
- Daily operation of screen print machines
- Setting up & preparing machines
- Keep the screen print area clean and tidy
- Communicate with the Factory Manager
- Ensure all prints produced are of a high quality
