As the Platform Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for for managing our talented platform engineers across several disciplines including SRE, DX and Cloud Platform. You will collaborate with people across the business, from agile development teams to business stakeholders, with the responsibility of defining the strategy and roadmap. You will be supporting the teams in delivering their best work and looking for ways to continuously improve processes and practices. What will you be doing?
Guide and drive the strategy, roadmap definition, prioritisation, execution, and team building for the team
Work closely with other engineering teams and leaders to gather internal customer feedback and use it to influence the direction for the team
Support the teams with their ceremonies with a strong focus on continuous improvement and ways of working
Envision, plan, and communicate initiatives to improve our cloud, devops, and information security maturity
Promote responsible engineering practices across the whole engineering organisation
Work with leadership peers to refine and improve our innovative engineering culture
Help engineers gain technical breadth and depth, improve judgment, and develop into tomorrow's leaders
We're looking for:
Strong leadership and people management Understanding of Agile practices and planning
Extensive experience working and leading in the DevOps, Cloud Platform, or Information Security areas, including as a technical lead
