The role:
We are seeking a professional and well-organised HR & Office Administrator to join us in our Hove office. You will provide consistent and effective administration support to the Human Resources Department as well as administrative support for the C-suite and general office management duties.
This is a new role and an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator to report directly into the Chief People Officer. You will demonstrate a strong, hands-on HR administration background, as well as experience in first line support for HR-related queries from employees and external partners. In addition to the HR requirement, you will possess an eagerness to support in other areas of the Head Office functions. As Crimtan grows, the workload of these teams is growing and require a dynamic, proactive person to manage a variety of tasks as we embed more robust global policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities:
HR administration and general HR support to include:
- Organise and maintain HR records/ Update internal HR systems (sickness, holiday leave, onboarding/offboarding)
- Prepare HR documents, (offer letters, employment contracts)
- Give prompt response to employees queries about HR-related issues/policies
- Provide on-site HR assistance in our London office once a week
Recruitment administration to include:
- Posting jobs adverts, updating careers page/job boards, assisting with global interview set-up, providing candidates with feedback
- Requesting and chasing new employee references
General office management duties to include:
- Maintaining the office condition and arranging necessary repairs
Serve as the point person for global office manager duties including:
- Maintenance
- Mailing
- Supplies
- Office and IT equipment
- Bills
- Errands
- Shopping
- Assist when required with in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations and conferences.
Executive Administration Support to include:
- Coordinating schedules, meetings and appointments
- Extensive calendar and diary management
- Attending meetings with your Manager and recording minutes
- Taking meetings and reporting back with actions
- Arranging travel and booking accommodation
- To support and cover the team specifically at times of annual leave.
Key skills and experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Minimum CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
- HR / Recruitment Administration experience
- HR Officer experience (first line support)
- Ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution; we need to do things quickly, and do them well. Balancing those can be challenging, and this should be a strength
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a busy and agile environment
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Possess a strong work ethic with a drive to progress, shine and succeed

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
