At our site in Alconbury, Huntingdon we are recruiting a Laboratory Support Technician to join our Environmental Fate / Metabolism department. The role will involve general support and upkeep of the lab as well as performing routine technical procedures and analysis of samples working to regulations.
Duties include:
Undertaking laboratory related activities, record keeping and checks, and carrying out general laboratory housekeeping including but not limited to; pot labelling and weighing, cleaning lab and equipment, ordering of stock items and equipment
Ensuring that the Study Supervisor/Director is informed of study progress and any problems that may require his/her review or which may compromise the integrity of a study
Performing routine and technical and scientific procedures under minimal supervision (once trained), accurately recording data according to study plans and SOPs, and maintaining GxP, A(SP)A and HSE compliance at all times
