Job description
Summary of position
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and committed individual to manage our customer orders and service, assist with the keeping of accurate accounts and support the smooth running of the office and butchery and shop at Model Farm. This is a varied role so we are looking for the right individual with a range of experience and a flexible approach to daily tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking customer orders and helping to resolve queries via phone and email
- Booking shipping and tracking parcels for customers
- Day to day processing of purchase and sales ledger invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Maintenance of stock records for shop and butchery
- Updating company websites
- Maintaining filing system and managing records
- Ordering supplies, stationery and equipment
- Any other duties as required
Skills, Knowledge and Ability
Qualifications and experience:
- Experience using SAGE accounting software would be beneficial
- AAT qualified or equivalent
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Previous experience of an office environment is essential
- Customer service experience is desirable
- An understanding of agriculture and livestock systems is desirable

- Team working skills as well as ability to work alone

- Self-motivated with good problem-solving skills
