We are currently looking for a Cleaning Supervisor (Stevenage) to ensure the smooth running of the cleaning operation and being responsible for the cleaning operatives and the standards of cleaning in an efficient and effective manner! You will be able to demonstrate your ability to organise, plan and prioritise work, having a flexible approach to your work hours, supporting your team when necessary.
This is an exciting opportunity to demonstrate your expertise around the Soft Facilities sector whilst managing a large team at a place where personal development and progression is an important part of our business!
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning tasks as detailed on the task allocation sheet including reactive jobs that are generated during the day.
- Ensure that all cleaning standards are met according to the main contract.
- Quality control checks of all buildings
- Stock control and distribution of supplies.
- Ensure correct materials, equipment and methods are used at all times and equipment is kept clean and in good working order.
- Make arrangements for faulty machinery / equipment to be repaired/replaced immediately.
Professional and personal competencies/qualifications
- Experience in the Soft Facilities sector
- Previous roles supervising a team
- A great knowledge of Health & Safety
- Confident and adaptable with a drive for excellence
