Our Colleague Experience (CX) teams sit within the Technology function to transform and improve the everyday experience for our colleagues across Aldermore group. We’re making hybrid working work and creating a modern workplace with improved security and a scalable delivery model.
This is a unique development opportunity to work alongside our Senior Platform Engineers and establish your career in cloud technologies. You’ll work across all core M365 platform services (email, JML processes, platform operations, migration activity, maintenance schedules, etc) and gain experience supporting, managing and developing the M365 and Azure platforms for the Group. What would your day look like?
You’ll report into the Azure/M365 Engineering Manager and support and assist with the following activities:
- The delivery of engineering development and change activities derived from the CX:CaP Pillar backlog associated with the following products - Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Compliance Centre, Microsoft Security Centre, Microsoft Azure Portal, Microsoft Exchange Online, Azure Sentinel
- Change oversight over wider M365 Platform, Azure and other supporting network and infrastructure changes derived from the Pillar
- Horizon scanning and impact assessment of upcoming Microsoft change via interface with key stakeholders and Pillar Leadership Team; plus management of the corporate first release programme to facilitate change management
- Problem, incident and ticket management associated with the above applications and solutions in conjunction with direct line reports
What do we expect of you?
Experience and/or understanding of Azure & M365 engineering activities- Solid understanding of infrastructure
- M365/Azure stack and product understanding
- Understanding of change management in complex environments
- Experience of service management and support activities, including incident and problem management
- Experience working successfully in a complex matrix organisation
- A passion and interest to develop a career in cloud
