Job Description
SGE are well-established national Bulk Earthworks/Soil Stabilisation contractor and are currently recruiting for a Trainee Land Surveyor. No experience is necessary; however, a good standard of education is essential, and a keen interest in construction and civil engineering/land surveying is required and a willingness to learn.
As you will be site based, our sites are based all over the UK so you will need to be willing to travel and work away from home in which subsistence will be paid to cover your hotel costs.
You will be a self-motivated, driven professional and keen to learn all aspects of the role within the construction industry. Head office is in Bedfordshire, with a satellite office in Sittingbourne, Kent and you will be travelling to our projects nationwide, for which a company vehicle and fuel card will be provided and as such a full driving license is required.
You will be working alongside our current team of Engineers/Quantity Surveyors/ Land Surveyors/Site Supervisors/Project Managers who will encourage you to learn about our business and offer full support allowing you to develop your career within the industry.
All training will be carried out on site with a chance to attend courses to enhance your training further, and on a day-to-day basis you will be using all the latest software and equipment available to the construction industry. As your training progresses you will become a key part of the company with the role you will be carrying out.
