Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Passenger Operations Coordinator to support with the full passenger check-in function on our ships. You’ll be assisting with departure and arrival procedures, as well as being responsible for all new bookings and passenger check-in. We’ll give you all the training you need and support you in your role, to ensure you deliver the best service possible to our customers. You’ll be asked to resolve queries, offer advice and guidance, and assist with general information.
During your role with us we would like you to collaborate with the Port Supervisor regarding the people, process, technology, and customers that are part of the port operations future strategy and development, helping us to meet performance targets for speed, efficiency, sales, and quality. You will asked to communicate with third party stakeholders including Border Force. Alongside your busy day to day activities, you’ll need to stay abreast of any changes of regulations within the industry and maintain up to date knowledge of developments so we can communicate this to our colleagues.
Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have experience working in a customer focused role. Who can demonstrate proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other relevant software. Effective communication skills are essential, combined with the ability to patiently explain processes, procedures, & company information to team members and customers. A self-motivated, team player who is approachable and a confident professional with a positive attitude. Proven experience in successfully resolving customer issues would be beneficial.
