Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Site based Supply Chain Manager on our site in Bromborough. You will report into the Factory Manager, with a functional link to the market category supply chain manager and be responsible for your own team spanning planning and logistics across the site.

A day in the life of a Factory Supply Chain Manager
- Member of Site Leadership team defining the strategic direction & delivery of the site. Contributing through supporting, challenging & coaching across all functions whilst ensuring the safe working environment for all.
- Responsible & accountable for creating & delivering the Supply Chain Strategy for the site ensuring high levels of Customer Service are achieved at optimal cost.
- Lead, coach and develop the Supply Chain team including the delivery of a people plan to maintain business continuity at all times
- Responsible for ensuring that safety, health and environment practices are fully aligned with company policies, guidelines and procedures.
- Operational delivery of detailed production plans, raw & packaging sourcing and material movements to ensure plans are achieved
- Accountable for the logistics performance of the site ensuring safe and timely material flows
- Optimisation of our supplier base, working with procurement to ensure achievement of production plans at lowest total cost
- Create and maintain supply contingencies as well as managing the impact of major supply interruptions with the business
- Manage interface between local site (Production & Technical), CPUK Supply Chain function & Market Distribution Centres
- Ensure compliance against defined standards ensuring internal & external requirements are achieved
What will make you successful?
- 3-5 yrs minimum experience of Supply chain covering areas such as Demand & Supply Planning, Logistics & Procurement.
- Experience of Leading and developing people
- Knowledge of related SAP/ IT systems
- Knowledge of LEAN and value stream processes
- Understanding of Business Planning
