Job Description

The Kelly Group is a principal contractor supporting and providing engineering resource for over 35 years. We are currently looking to hire a finance administrator to join our growing team.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Database entry of daily works completed by Operations on to our Database in order to calculate the weekly wages of crews
  • Highlighting anomalies such as missing timesheets and following up daily with Site Managers
  • Ensuring all necessary documents/additional cost approvals are on the database
  • The ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Good communication skills - to be able to liaise effectively with all levels across the organisation
  • PC literate with good keyboard skills, prior use of databases and a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Good attention to detail
  • Flexible and able to manage priorities in demanding time scales
  • Accessing databases to obtain information for the department,
  • Liaise with staff in other departments
  • Produce and maintain excel spreadsheets when required by colleagues
  • Any other duties required for the Finance Team

You will have the following qualifications and be able to prove experience and competence:

  • Proficient use and knowledge of software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
  • Basic knowledge of telecommunications terminology
  • Able to organise and prioritise work/tasks
  • Well developed, client facing skills with a client orientated approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Willing to lead by example and work with own initiative
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to balance competing priorities and meet personal targets within a fluctuating & demanding workload
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Able to manage and respond positively to change
  • Be alert to changing situations, show flexibility in approach, adaptability in difficult circumstances and continuously strive to achieve a result
