We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic, committed, and motivated Health Assessment Nurse who can identify and assess the health needs of Asylum Seekers and Refugee Adults and Children, primarily in a clinic setting. You will also be required to support families in the community and hotel settings.
The Haven is a specialist primary healthcare service for asylum seekers and refugees in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. Our team of staff consists of GPs and nurses who will assess and meet the initial health needs of asylum seekers and new refugees. We are closely integrated with the wider system, working collaboratively with social care, local authorities and the voluntary sector to advocate for the needs of those we support and provide training for healthcare professionals. We also help people to access health services and other services they need.
