The Property Services Team are recruiting to a newly created role within the major works team. You will manage M & E pre-construction works, be responsible for translating multiple data sources into deliverable projects on site. You will strategically review annual budgets and build programmes of works based on the data received and the budget available each fiscal year.
You will be required to review data from our internal software systems, while consulting with internal and external stakeholders on M & E equipment that requires replacement. You will also look ahead at future programmes to build a 5 year planned programme on our M & E equipment.
Oversee delivery analysis work Including design, technical specification, costed reviews of proposals and assessing deliverability of projects throughout all pre-construction stages. All projects will be developed into an efficient de-risked solution to which our partners/contractors can deliver.
Leads the pre-construction M & E workstreams, you will be the glue between asset strategy, housing management, compliance and regional delivery. You will report directly to the Head of pre-construction, give / receive support form regional preconstruction teams and the preconstruction coordination manager.
To be able to undertake this role you must have:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to demonstrate financial and commercial acumen, including risk management skills at the highest level. Including financial reporting and presenting to internal stakeholders at a high level.
- Demonstrate collaboration and influencing skills, with key stakeholders.
- Computer literate, with previous experience in managing asset management data, Excellent MS office skills.
- Good working knowledge of standard measured term partnering forms of contract
- Good understanding of regulatory compliance for risk management
- Excellent understanding of all pre-construction activities, Specifications, tendering, Design, planning, building regulations, CDM 2015 and leasehold consultation
- Knowledge and experience in the field of Mechanical Services and engineering
- Professional qualification in a construction related course or relative experience.
