The Defence School of Communication and Information Systems (DSCIS) located at Blandford Camp, Dorset, delivers Information Technology (IT) and Communications Information Systems (CIS) training to Defence personnel.
We have vacancies for IT, ICT trainers or technicians to deliver training to future Defence IT/ICT professionals.
We are particularly interested in candidates from an academic, engineering or technical background in Information Technology.
We have vacancies in the following technical areas:
Operating systems (Microsoft Server and Exchange) to teach installation and configuration, fault diagnosis and maintenance of computer operating systems. The successful candidates will possess skills and experience in Operating Systems (Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Server MTA) or Comp TIA A+.
Software Engineering. The successful candidates will possess skills and experience in one or more of the following IT/ICT Applications: Cloud, SharePoint Administration, Office 365 applications and Power automate applications. Database: SQL Server, Database Security. Database Administration, design configure and use databases. Programming languages and coding systems: Such as but not limited to Python, C++, SQL, Linux, Block Code and Micro Bit.
Networking. CISCO CCNA, CCNP. The successful candidates will possess skills and experience in one or more of the following subject areas: Essential CISCO CCNA Introduction to Networks (ITN), Switching, Routing and Wireless Essentials (SWRE).
Desirable CISCO Enterprise Networking, Security and Automation (ENSA))
Desirable CISCO Networking CCNP; (CISCO SD-Wan Solutions (ENSLD) and Designing CISCO Enterprise Networks (ENSLD).
