Project Manager – Infrastructure - 12 month fixed term contract
Within Hiscox our project management team is a fine tuned collective of Project Managers working across our York and London sites delivering best of breed solutions within IT, Infrastructure and Security. They ensure our business is ahead of the curve with regards to technology provision to our users and employees
The focus within this role is the management of a number of key Infrastructure projects on a 12 month fixed term contract. These will require timely delivery to ensure deliverY of our overall IT TOM. Your role will include the upgrading of core infrastructure, new technology implementation and working alongside applications project managers to deliver the platform side of the project.
Within this role we will expect you to be able to:

Manage a number of infrastructure projects within an agile / DevOps delivery environment
- Produce project plans, budgets, risk and issue logs, change logs and highlight reports to senior stakeholders

Manage, monitor and motivate project team members and suppliers, to ensure quality deliverables are completed on time and within budget
- Support and manage timely and accurate financial tracking

Manage physical and virtual resources required including conflict resolution, risk management and distributed teams (internal and vendor based)
You will be an experienced project manager with strong relationship building skills with specific experience managing infrastructure projects. You will have worked with and managed 3rd parties in the past and delivered effective business solutions and have managed multiple concurrent projects of differing scale and scope. Experience of agile methodologies is also required.

As this is a 12 month fixed term contract, on top of your basic salary you will receive a 5% allowance, option of opting into the pension scheme, holiday entitlement the same as a permanent employee and also be eligible for the company bonus scheme.
