Jungle Mazeia is a well established Children's Play Centre based in Thorne, Doncaster. We are renowned for creating a friendly and welcoming environment and enjoy a fantastic reputation within the local community. We host many Children's Birthday Parties throughout the entire year and our customers simply love the care and attention we take during every visit. We are proud that our cafe, which operates within the establishment, has a five star food and hygiene rating from the local authority. It is a fun and fast moving place to work where our dynamic team always place the requirements of our customers at the centre of everything.
We require a Part Time Assistant Supervisor to join our team. They should be able to to work alongside the General Manager, motivate, support and develop a team of up to 10 people at any one time. The position will be working between 24 and 30 hours per week on any 3 to 4 days throughout the entire week including weekends. Initially the job is presented on a temporary basis with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right person. The candidate should be age 16+ due to needing to be flexible to work hours between 9am and 6pm Monday through Sunday on a rota basis. Extra hours may be available to cover holidays and sickness. The ideal candidate should be bubbly and outgoing and have previous customer service/supervisor experience as well as being able to meet the needs of our customers in a professional manner. They will have full responsibility to manage day to day operations, the total customer experience, and compliance across all parts of the Play Centre.
Main duties are:-
- Manage day to day operations of the Play Area, Care and Parties
- Interact with customers face to face, via email, telephone conversations and social media including dealing with complaints in a timely manner
- Taking stock count and ordering food, drink and merchandise
- Train and develop staff including dealing with absence and performance management and producing staff rota's within budgets.
- Ensure compliance of health and safety issues, fire and food hygiene
- Plan and execute events that will engage the community
- Manage the full customer experience
