The key responsibilities of the role will be to assess the number of uncovered turns for the following day and to identify what diagrams are likely to be uncovered. The goal each day will be to use the Driver and Train Manager diagrams (together with unit availability and the maintenance requirements) to re-plan the service and to create a list of cancellations and alterations as appropriate. The role will be fast paced and so attention to detail with the ability to solve problems will be essential. The role will allow the opportunity to work very closely with the Resource Controllers for Train Crew and Rolling Stock but also with close engagement with the Fleet Planners and Hitachi.

The post is based with the LNER team at York ROC and shift coverage will include working between 1400-2100 from Monday to Sunday on a part time basis (likely 2/3 shifts weekly)
