Here at GXO we are recruiting for an Operations Support Manager. This role has direct responsibility for managing our Secondary Fleet, Warehouse and admin at our Washington Depot. You will be working any 5 from 7 days with weekly rotating shifts of 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00. A truly varied role where no 2 days are the same!

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £31,052.00 plus shift allowance, per annum. In addition, we offer 32 days holiday as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
The safe operation of all distribution activities across Washington depot, ensuring compliance with H&S legislation & safe systems of work-
Management of our warehouse operation

Ensuring that the delivered service to the customers in the depots distribution is provided and targets are achieved and exceeded

Ensure regular and effective communication methods are developed
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Substantial experience of Operational distribution management at shift manager level.-
Demonstrate knowledge of multi-site operations, UK Distribution legislation and working best practices

Ability to drive and motivate our warehouse colleagues

Experience of people development, communication and team skills
