As a Cleaning Operative, you will be working in the LiveWest internal maintenance service (IMS) delivering a comprehensive high quality cleaning service to assist with the completion of repairs and maintenance to our properties across the Exeter area.
On a day to day basis, you will provide an excellent level of customer service to both internal and external customers, you will be primarily required to deliver a deep clean service to our empty homes upon completion of trade works and prior to a new customer moving in. You will also work in our customer’s homes completing treatment and cleaning works to assist with the management and prevention of damp and mould. You will undertake waste disposal and recycling in accordance with regulatory requirements, prescribed work schedules and established standard policies and procedures.
You will participate effectively in mobile working by accurately operating the electronic recording system, to record job orders including maintenance of timesheets, work completion status, vehicle records, materials management and progress against target objectives set for time, cost, and quality.
This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis and is field based.

To be considered for the role of Cleaning Operative, you will be / have:
- Experience in providing commercial cleaning services.
- Experience in providing a customer focused service.
- Knowledge of use of cleaning equipment and materials.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, in particular health and safety and COSHH.
- A full UK/EU manual driving licence, with the ability to drive a vehicle up to 3.5T.
- Ability to work without supervision and take ownership of own work.
- Reliable and responsible – able to work effectively.
