BAT IS LOOKING FOR an Operations HR Business Partner
FUNCTION: Human Resources

TYPE OF CONTRACT: Permanent
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
Operate as the HR Business Partner for function, focusing on the design and delivery of appropriate HR strategies, processes and services ensuring alignment to global HR agenda and the functions business and HR/people strategy.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Support Operations HRBP in the preparation, delivery and progress review of the strategic HR/people agenda
- Drives progress against BAT’s transformation journey, fit for purpose organization design and any other strategic agendas

Ensures effective senior talent pooling, talent moves and career development planning

Manages the execution of the performance management, pay and talent cycle for the function in the Centre – this includes performance calibration, talent discussion and moves for Centre based talent

Ensures quality recruitment into the function and supports the joiners/movers/ exits process working closely with UKHR (includes functional on boarding and exit interviews)

Escalation point for operational HR issues - as required. Works closely with UK HR on any ER/IR matters.

Supports the diversity agenda and embedding of understanding across the function

Ensure alignment, coordination and joint sponsorship of Functional Must-Win-Capabilities agenda and activities. Drives Culture and Leadership behaviour in line with BAT’s transformation, focusing on Diversity and Inclusion
- Manage Individual Consultation and internal Assessment & Selection for proposed revised organisation design. Manage all employee exits (settlement agreement creation and implementation)

Manage and track all external recruitment in conjunction with Global Business Services and external recruitment partners.
- Embed functions on new HR processes and tools - as required
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Solid rounded generalist, with proven technical skills and understanding of Reward, Talent, OE and HR systems-
Understands the function set up and ways of working - previous experience with the function and/or HRBP
- Commercial orientation

- Proven ability to learn quickly and is committed to self-development
