Your role
We’re looking for an HR Business Partner based in London to help us:
- partner closely with our business leaders across Global Wealth Management UK & Jersey and represent GWM HR at the Management Forum.
- counsel the business and develop our human capital strategy (people management, reward, succession planning and strategic hiring)
- lead and collaborate on building capability and workforce strategies that will improve business performance (manage our talent, oversee performance, promotion and compensation)
- ensure highly sensitive employee matters are addressed in an appropriate manner to minimize risk to UBS while ensuring a positive working environment
- provide qualitative and quantitative HR information in order to guide and influence decisions
- handle any people-related risk issues

Your team
You’ll be responsible for GWM UK&Jersey and join a team of HR business partners collaborating together with other experts in HR. You will be a member of the UK HR Management Forum representing GWM HR in the UK and support the broader HR team. We're problem solvers for the business, supporting and challenging each other to reach the right outcome. You’ll play an important role in working closely with the business to recruit and develop individual talent, as well as, foster UBS's collaborative, respectful and performance-oriented culture. This role will allow you to build networks across a culturally diverse organization. You will report to the Head HR GWM Europe based in Frankfurt.
Your expertise
- an experienced Business Partner working with senior clients and providing strategic HR support
- skilled at building networks and connections
- able to impact and influence decisions and individuals
- confident using and analyzing data to help make better decisions
- well organized and able to thrive when no two days are the same
- comfortable with challenging the status quo
- experience in developing people strategies
- a few years of experience in a comparable role like this
- a strong and proven business acumen, ideally in financial industry
- a clear can do attitude towards the business and within the HR team
- a firm grasp on the different HR disciplines
