Bid Coordinator / Bid Writer (Construction)

The business is a Regional Construction Company based across the North West of England, working a on a number of frameworks to deliver outsanding results with the education and healthcare industry. The principal contractor has over 80 years of experience and specialising on builds of between £500k to £10m
Due to continued growth within the public and private sector the vacancy of bid writer has arisen.
Job Role
Supporting the Pre-con Team preparing and creating quality bids and proposals, these including Expressions of Interest, Capability Statements, Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and Tenders. The Bid Writer will also take ownership of all incoming enquiries.
Some of the Responsibilities will include
- Understanding rules and Tendering, the timescales and responsibilities
- Management of all Tender activities
- Maintaining Social value culture, partnering with social enterprises and charities
- Obtain feedback from all Clients relating to both successful and unsuccessful Bids to improve future Bids.
The successful candidate will have the following skills, experience and qualifications
- Experience in a similar role
- Competency with Microsoft packages
- Keen eye for detail and production of high-quality work
- Imaginative and innovative approach to bid submissions
- Knowledge of TOMS framework
