UCL’s Faculty of Population Health Sciences The UCL Faculty of Population Health Sciences (FPHS) brings together eight academic departments (Child Health, Epidemiology and Health Care, Women’s Health, Cardiovascular Science, Clinical Trials and Methodology, Global Health, Health Informatics, Global Business School for Health) whose common aim is to explore and understand the underlying factors that cause ill-health, and innovate to improve health worldwide. The Faculty is one of the two leading Population Health Schools in the UK and top among Russell Group universities as demonstrated by the Research Excellence Framework 2014 results. UCL is ranked 5th in the world for Public Health (Shanghai Ranking's Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2021). We host more than 30 taught programmes, mainly for postgraduate students, and have around 400 students studying towards a PhD qualification. We are currently growing our portfolio of fully or predominately online programmes as well as our Executive Education and Short Course offering. The Education Administration and Student Experience (EASE) staff across the Faculty work together in a close network of teams that support all of our students.
Main purpose of the job Provide specialist administration to designated postgraduate taught (PGT) degree programmes, ensuring effective procedures are adopted and documented for dealing with all aspects of the administration. Assist in achieving a high quality and timely service to current and prospective students and staff related to the designated PGT degree programmes and beyond. Provide support for all matters relating to the teaching and learning activities of students, from enquiry to completion, including supporting committees and processes relating to assessment, student, and programme records.
