THE ROLE*
As Digital Marketing Executive, your role will be to provide essential support to the hotel digital marketing and communications team, with a focus on CMS, EDM campaigns, Social Media and overseeing paid media campaigns. Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:
- Maintaining and updating hotel website regularly with key information such as opening times, menu updates or new assets
- Creating and designing new website pages for new seasonal offers and messages
- Updating design documents in Adobe suite (primarily InDesign) such as menus, factsheets and e-brochures and ensuring they are appropriately distributed and access on hotel website.
- Manage the SEO function of the property website
- Creating relevant EDM campaigns for various hotel outlets, keeping our defined brand pillars at the heart of the storytelling
- Maintaining and managing hotel, FB and wellness CRM databases to distribute EDM campaigns to effectively
- Working with the Director of Marketing Communications to implement Social Media strategy including content creation, scheduling, overseeing, content creation, influencer engagement strategy and ensuring the channel has a mix of original, and UGC to support the strategic content pillars
- Working with any Social Media consultants to ensure the strategic direction of all Social channels
- Managing the direction of the Social Media Consultant and Videographer to create creative paid media assets to support organic activity
- Assisting the Director of Marketing Communications in managing Paid Media Agency and distribution of paid media assets
- Proactive member of the marketing team, contributing regularly to the commercial success of the department and hotel
- Manage the distribution of assets that support ongoing messaging priorities for the brand (launches, FB, partnerships, events and more)
- Collaborate with copywriters, photographers, production, other designers and communication manager to ensure digital projects are produced to meet standards for quality and accuracy.
- To have good communication skills and proficiently liaise with all departments such as FD, Rooms, HR regarding any upcoming marketing projects.
- To work collaboratively as a team and help each other where necessary.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years’ experienceworking as a Manager within a well-established, lifestyle gym or spa brand.
- Anentrepreneurial way of thinking is a must to help us establish, run and deliver ambitious goals for a new and exciting fitness and wellness area.
- Qualified as a personal trainer or a spa therapist is desirable.
