An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Associate working for internal finance providing decision support and solutions on technical and commercial financial issues. The role will be supporting a business unit within the Tax practice. They will report to the Finance Manager/Leader / SA . The role is offered as permanent.
As a Finance Associate the individual should have a basic understanding of business, technical, analytical and possess commercial skills and be able to apply their knowledge to provide support to the Finance Manager/Leader and client facing teams. The individual should be enthusiastic to learn, able to prioritise, confident to communicate in both verbal and written forms and be a strong relationship builder
The Finance Associate will play a key role in supporting the Finance Manager/Leader in the following areas:
Performance management
Performance improvement
Financial control and compliance
Building relationships and sharing knowledge
Providing data input into forecasting and budgeting
Requirements
Ability to prioritise workload, ask questions and promote financial best practice
Action orientated and enthusiastic to take on new tasks
Focused on continuous improvement and learning in all areas of their work
A strong relationship builder who builds trust in their key stakeholders
Good written and verbal communication skills
Takes responsibility for their own personal development
Basic to intermediate excel
