Business Analyst – Website Review
Background
Total Systems on behalf of BC Transit in is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (contractor) to work Remotely in British Columbia, Canada with BC Transit to review its public facing website. This will include taking an inventory of all pages and sections on the website, documenting functionality that enhances the site, describing 3rd party software integration, and documenting stakeholder needs for future improvements to content, functionality and software.
The scope of this temporary contract is to complete part of a larger survey of the digital portfolio and is intended to act as a foundational suite of documents that will help inform future phases of a full redesign of the BC Transit website.
Service Requirements
This project is expected to have a duration of up to a two (2) months commencing from February 20, 2023 or sooner if possible and this project is expected to complete on April 21, 2023 and will require about 37.5 hours per week.
Role Description & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
The role may include the following:
- Review and document all existing pages and sections on the public facing website
- Reach out to stakeholders to identify content that is missing or outdated and document future content needs
- List any pain points or barriers to adoption with the current CMS by content contributors
- Describe any functionality that was purpose-built for the website, as well as any additional functionality that is desired by stakeholders
- List any 3rd party software that is currently integrated within the website, and discover any future software integration desired or planned by stakeholders
- Create a governance matrix to reference the connection between stakeholders and their content
- Provide regular project updates and present a final report
Experience, Knowledge, and Education Required
The Senior Business Analyst will have the following:
- 5-8 years experience with core BA capabilities: business analysis, facilitation, project management, business process improvement and re-engineering, defining and documenting, writing proposals
- 3-5 years experience in Project Management, learning large/complex projects for public organizations
- Strong experience with Stakeholder and Relationship Management
- Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Degree, diploma, certification or equivalent in computer science, business administration, technology or a related field OR; An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Rate
The Maximum Offered rate is $40/hr
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Salary: Up to £40.00 per hour
