Save the Children UK has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a proven track-record of successfully delivering programme of direct response TV and online video advertising activities to join us as our Audio-visual Fundraising Manager (TV & Digital Video)/Fundraising Manger (DRTV & Online Video)

About you

As our Audio-Visual Fundraising Manager (TV & Digital Video), you will deliver effective acquisition campaigns across bought marketing channels, to build consideration, prompt action and drive income through the acquisition of regular giving donors. You will also role will help to deliver donor fundraising targets by leading acquisition activity on TV and digital video channels, informed through data, insights, and continued testing.

In this role, you will:

  • Help to deliver new donor fundraising targets by leading direct response TV and digital video acquisition activity, informed through data, insights and continued testing.
  • Engage, motivate and lead external agency partners to deliver on agreed KPI's – including volume, income & quality of new donors.
  • Work in partnership with the Loyalty team to insure a great donor experience and strong 1st year retention.
  • Work as part of a team to attract, engage and prompt potential supporters to take a financial action– using insight and data to understand our audience's needs and motivations to build long term relationships
  • Manage content plans and develop marketing assets that inspire engagement and action. Deliver inspiring, audience focused creative, working with agencies as required.

To be successful, it is important that you have:

  • A creative flair, an understanding of the drivers of response in fundraising video advertising, along with a rigorous approach to testing and analysis.
  • Experience in managing and delivering marketing campaigns across direct response TV or other digital video channels
  • Project management experience with a proven ability to plan and manage activity that delivers complex projects on time and to budget
  • Experience of effectively managing external partners to drive performance and continual improvement
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a non-profit or commercial background

Ways of Working:

We are a Remote First organisation– This means that the majority of our roles can be performed remotely, however you may work from the office as often as you wish. Whilst you will be predominantly working from home, we may at times require you to come to your contracted office (up to 2-4 days per month or 6-8 days per quarter). Note: This will be agreed with your Line Manager and team. This is intended to be time spent on collaborating with colleagues and relationship building. For this role, the successful candidate will be required to work from our Farringdon Office one day a week.
