The Role
We are looking for an experienced and creative UX/UI Designer to join our team. As a UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for delivering the best user experience. This is an extremely important role for our success, as it will ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty to our 20 million members.
Your responsibilities as a UX/UI Designer will include:
Researching and understand user requirements
Creating positive user journeys
Designing graphic/UI elements
To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. A portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications would be a plus.
Ultimately, you will create both functional and appealing features that address both our members' and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Illustrate design/UX ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
Create original graphic designs
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images
Conduct qualitative and qualitative user research
Being able to clearly communicate with multiple internal/external stakeholders, ensuring the vision is understood, the objectives are clear and that the overall goals are met.
Requirements
Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
Portfolio of design projects
A good working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
Experience of collaborative working in a multi-disciplined, agile environment
Ability to work well within a team and to obtain co-operation and adapt to change
Time management and organisational skills
BA in Design, or relevant field
Desirable Skills
An innovator who will actively pursue opportunities to develop new skills and extend expertise
Knowledge of HTML, CSS
Strong interest in design and typography
Experience using Trello and Jira task management systems
You would work closely with our busy production team to help manage and maintain our websites for the UK, USA, China, Germany & France. This will involve helping carry out design, production of internal and external marketing material, including the design of some of our social media campaigns.
