What you'll do
This role has commercial strategy, strategic business case and financial leadership responsibilities. You will work closely with the Senior Indirect Sales Manager and Senior Commercial Finance Manager to develop Vodafone’s medium and long term distribution strategy and own the indirect business cases for both strategic deals and tactical trading actions. In addition, you will work cross-functionally with the Indirect account managers and take the lead on driving a profitability programme that delivers growth and performance optimisation with each of our partners.
Key accountabilities:
Drive the development and evolution of the Pay Monthly Indirect distribution strategy and take a leading role in developing and negotiating the commercial frameworks with our partners.-
Support partner account managers, Segment and the Senior Commercial Finance Manager to build compelling business cases for channel investment e.g. box support, terms revisions, cash flow incentives, volume bonuses etc. Own the business case and prepare first class presentations that secure internal governance approval.

Work with Finance Operations, BI, FP&A to understanding drivers of month end results, interpret the financial results and provide meaningful commentary and performance-based insights vs forecast/budget. Use this insight to challenge the outlooks from account managers and provide an update on the drivers of key movements to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager and

Work with partner account managers and the partners directly to track KPI’s and propose actions to drive performance. Work directly with the partners as required e.g. in support of quarterly business reviews, contract negotiations etc.
