Job Description

Role: Office Manager Temp

Base: Head Office, Manchester City Centre

Reporting to: Director

Hours: 3 or 4 days per week

Pay: £15.50 p/h

This is a temporary position for 3 months with the possibility of extension.


We are looking for an Office Manager to organise and coordinate administration duties and office procedures. The role is to create and maintain a positive work environment, ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness, communication, and safety. Ultimately, the Office Manager should be able to ensure the smooth running of the office and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operation.

Office Manager Responsibilities:

  • Schedule meetings and appointments for the office
  • Manage diary for Director
  • Oversee IT & administrative systems & offer support for new sites (insurance, wifi, licensing, business rates)
  • Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services
  • Offer support with admin for company benefits & other HR projects
  • Arrange company-wide travel and accommodation
  • Provide general admin support to managers

  • Managing office contracts & budgets

We are looking for someone who:

  • is proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint
  • has excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work

  • has strong written and verbal communication skills
  • has previous experience as an Office Manager or Office Administrator

  • can be creative, open and suggest improvements
